Bit pis*ed off with this - as when the Russian striker deal was put on hold I lost a commission and this deal was stitched up without translators

- I'm gonna have to start begging on the streets if this carries on...

Stranzl's a left footed defender, probably wouldn't play at right back

yeah i know, but stuttgart have had magnin and lahm in successive seasons, so when stranzl has played it's often been on the right. new coach doesn't seem to rate him though, which is a pity because i thought he was their best player in sammer's last season.

Stranzl was flogged to Spartak Moscow for around 5m € in March, but he´s very versatile and can pretty much play any position in a back 4. He´s at his best at center half, but for some reason unknown to me was never used there after being quite promising for the first six months. He was´t the best player under Sammer, that player is now playing at Arsenal. :(

The club is apparently looking to replace Andi with Beck, which is total madness in my opinion, but nothing unusual at this club. How you can sell a guy with 160 Bundesliga matches and 17 caps and replace him with a guy who´s just out of school and has 5 Bundesliga appearances is beyond me.

This transfer hurts like f*** as he´s been with the club for 14 years and is a very loyal and local lad. Playing for his hometown club meant the world to him. :(

He tore up opposing defences for fun until he got a new contract in November 2003 and got injured shortly thereafter, an injury he really hasn´t recovered from yet, as he hasn´t been himself ever since. He´s still very solid defensively tho.

Personal allegiances aside, it´s a good move for him and for Stuttgart as he was kinda stuck in a one way street here and I´m not sure he could´ve got out of it. Starting over in a new town, a new country without his family may just what he needs. I wish him all the best. Treat him well, Figaro, and tell me how he does on and off the pitch. :)

I surely will be in Seville one time in the not too distant future.

Poulsen is a top notch loonie, btw.
