Reffing our tournament semi final on Sunday. Alan Hicks aka the ref in the Carlsberg match, the one who booked Jackie Charlton for shirt pulling.

 

Apparently he's also the referees secretary as well, you can imagine the conversation.

 

'Hello Alan we're looking for a ref to play himself in a multi million pound ad being run at peak times during the world cup. There's a variety of world cup winners and retired super stars in it plus a a nice hefty fee, do you know anybody would fit the bill?'
