You can hardly call Pepper a signing either, he's 14 and won't even be at the Academy full time for another two years. We've probably signed up 5 or 6 other 14 year olds.Pretty sure he was/is at Livingston maybe it was a falkirk v livingston report and i remembered the wrong team didnt we sign alan irvine or someone from falkirk?
G Richards Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 I think Kuyt will be the next piece of the jigsaw. Bellamy, Kuyt, Alves, Gonzales, Paletta, Aurelio (plus a couple of kids) = good summer.

We signed Ryan Flynn from the youth-cup winning side from them last summer.

He was rated at £20 million + last year too so that boat hasn't gone anywhere. David Villa on the otherhand... Knox_Harrington said: You can add Viduka to that list if we don't get Kuyt. Thought that was just crappy press talk - didn't put too much credence in it at the time. You've me worried now!

koppper Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 There's no way we are after Viduka - everyone Rafa is signing is a high energy, versatile player. It may not be Kuyt, but he covered every blade of grass the other night and suits Rafa's plan. Next season, I see a lot of goals coming late on as the opposition just gets too knackered.
