Lampard was awful yesterday, sure he had a few shots but that was pretty much all he contributed.

Beckham is a luxury you cannot afford once the knockout phase starts. His deadball delivery is his so called speciality and most of them were utter garbage yesterday. He tried to chase back after their full back yesterday and basically gave up after 20 yds as he had no chance of getting near the Swede.

When will a defender just chop off Joe Cole's legs. Yes Joe we all know you do 3,4 or 5 stepovers on the run. If I was a full back, I would take a yellow just to cut out that stupid move. Unfortuneately, he was the best player in the first half and looked good. 2nd half, he was knackered and did not do much.

Terry and frogface were bumbling and stumbling at times. They seem to have little ability to adjust the way they play and look like clowns when they clear (or try to) the ball.

The goalie looked poor at times, but playing behind the clowns will do that.

Rooney did ok, but was starved of possession as it all went to Cole. His tantrum on the bench was typical of someone who is not able to understand the concept of tournament play and easing back after an injury.

The biggest problem for England is the whole team's full of these luxury players

Beckham, Ferdinand, Lampard, Joe Cole, Gary Neville, Ashley Cole. They're all luxury

They're good to have if you already have a good team, but you can't build a good team 'round them, coz they're luxury and will disappear when the going gets tough

The only one of those luxury players who are performing is Joe Cole.

England need more John Terrys and Gerrards and Rooneys who'd bust a gut to win a game, and dare I say Carra. Reliable players, and in Rooney's case a reliable c***.

But it's the English tabloid's nature to have a w***fest over all those luxury players

To be fair, I actually thought at the time that Rooney was more pissed of with himself, in not playing that well and not being fit.

Terry and Robinson have the look of scared rabbits at times

England are the international equivalent of Real Madrid.

Lots of good players, but incapable of playing together as a viable team.

One of these days, I expect Lampard to tackle Gerrard as he feels he is not getting enough time on the ball.

'cept they don't have anywhere near the natural talent and technical ability that most of the Real Madrid players do have

They're more comparable with the barcodes

Robinson never came for anything last night and you can tell it unerves the defence. Many of our defenders are used to playing with commanding keepers like Reina, Cech, Lehmman amd must therefore expect Robinson to come out for some balls. He just stays on his line and doesn't make an effort to come for anything.

Beckham was schite because he couldn't get past the half way line to put in a cross. Sweden were able to push us back to the half way line for most of the game once Rooney was knackered and Crouch came on because we had no pace to hurt their high line defence.

The substitution of Ferdinand for Campbell exacerbated this because it meant we couldn't play Lennon. Why he didn't move Carra in and bring on Lennon then is beyond me.

So really it all comes down to Sven being inept.

Luxury doesn't mean "gifted and "has a flair"

And yes, w***** Nev is luxury for England, half the time he parks his ass on the opposition half with Beckham instead of giving the hard yards.
