EM - QUALIFIKATION: DEUTSCHLAND - IRLAND

Am 2. September tritt die deutsche Nationalmannschaft unter Bundestrainer Jürgen Klinsmann in der Qualifikation für die EM 2008 in Österreich und der Schweiz in Stuttgart gegen Irland an.

Im letzten Duell der beiden Mannschaften gab es in der WM-Vorrunde 2002 ein 1:1 - beide Teams qualifizierten sich so fürs Achtelfinale. Damals stand der heutige Manager der Nationalmannschaft, Oliver Bierhoff, selbst als Spieler auf dem Platz.

Eine heiße Partie kündigt sich an ? diesmal hoffentlich mit der DFB-Auswahl als Sieger.
