i reckon he's the kind of player that could do well at a spanish or italian side. though i'm not sure he strikes me as the sort that would settle well in a non-english speaking environment. it just seems like a big step down to go to the toon, when he would have better prospects of success at somewhere like spurs, or even blackburn.

Doesn't really like the hustle and bustle of London.

He likes the quiet life away from football and it's impossible in London so I hear.

BTW.. I heard today from the same lad.

 

Seems that move has all but died to Newcastle. He was going until Souey (??!!??) left.

 

He's still lookin at a club up north though... Think of his sponsors..
