Cooldude Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 He's the type of t*** that'd fit right in the culture of any one of those two clubs
Clay Davis Posted June 18, 2006 Author Posted June 18, 2006 My source says different.its not a "source" as such - just a load of Evertonians have told me.

Guest Scot Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 he has been told that the original contract offer City had given him has now been withdrawn, I know that Good for City
slapnuts Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 My source says different. Our survey sez.................
aka Dus Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Why was the original offer withdrawn? Cos of his fluting around playing "hardball"? I may have missed something in this squalid little story along the way I think.
Benzo-13 Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Roeder said today he's buying 5 or 6 new lads.. I still reckon Duff could be one. Along with this Barton one.
Herbie von Smalls Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 (edited) Roeder said today he's buying 5 or 6 new lads.. I still reckon Duff could be one. Along with this Barton one.surely duff's talent and ambition extend further than a move to newcastle? Edited June 18, 2006 by Herbie von Smalls
Benzo-13 Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 surely duff's talent and ambition extend further than a move to newcastle? I heard it from a friend of his agent and old man a while back..
Benitez Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 surely duff's talent and ambition extend further than a move to newcastle? only if Chelsea allow him to move to one of the big clubs (if any are after him).
Herbie von Smalls Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 I heard it from a friend of his agent and old man a while back..i reckon he's the kind of player that could do well at a spanish or italian side. though i'm not sure he strikes me as the sort that would settle well in a non-english speaking environment. it just seems like a big step down to go to the toon, when he would have better prospects of success at somewhere like spurs, or even blackburn.

Doesn't really like the hustle and bustle of London. He likes the quiet life away from football and it's impossible in London so I hear. He prefers it up in the north of England.

Benzo-13 Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 that wouldn't surprise me. his lack of ambition does, however. BTW.. I heard today from the same lad. Seems that move has all but died to Newcastle. He was going until Souey (??!!??) left. He's still lookin at a club up north though... Think of his sponsors..
