Three things...

...I want to buy before I schack up with my girl friend.

1) A Creative mp3 player (which is by far the easiest of the three)

I have an eye on the Zen Touch 20 GB player at £99. I've heard some great things about it, but the software is supposed to be very bad. Also, isn't it a bit old nowadays? Anyway, unless some of you can give me a really good reason not to buy it, then I'll have one come monday

2) A laptop (a bit more difficult)

In two months I'll be studying English and German at Aarhus School of Business, so I'll probably need a decent laptop. My problem is though, most laptops at decent prices (£450-500) how s*** batteries. I need at least three hours without power supply, but I can live without the Intel Centrino processor and maybe with only 256mb memory. I keep an eye on Dell laptops but they're a bit too expensive with a decent battery and additional memory. I might just have to save a bit more money before buying and maybe even wait a while for a killer Dell offer - unless someone has a Momo offer up their sleeve?

3) An LCD TV (Expensive, and my girl friend doesn't think we need one!)

I've looked at some 32" Samsung LCDs and they range a lot in price. From £800 to almost £1400! The main difference is the design but the expensive one has PIP (Picture In Picture), which I don't give a Neville's @rse about, the contast, brightness and response time are the same. All of them claim to be HD-Ready, but what's more to look after?

So, there you have it. I need help
