......because it only costs £10, and their less efficent and costly (£1000) alternative, will provide more profitable. The drug is called Aventis and is usually used for colon-cancer, but has proven effective against Age Re-lated Macular Degeneration (AMD)

This is utterly shocking. The goverment should take the licence from the company and market the drug themselves.
