There was also a yellow card he gave to a Korean defender in the first half that was ridiculous - the Togo guy dived, that was obvious even before the replay was shown, and Poll was Johnny-on-the-spot. He's so crap.

Gotta have a dig at any & every opportunity though .

 

Thing is - most refs keep the cards in different pockets, so they don't pull the red when going to book someone & looking a bell. Poll even did & still fecked it up.

 

What got me was the contemptuous flick of the thumb saying 'off' before he'd reached for the cards. He seemed in a hurry to send they guy off.

 

Not saying it wasn't a 2nd booking though
