Reggie Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Anyone got a stream? Can't get the BBC coverage outside the UK.
sutty Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Kinell, I'm glad I'm not a commentator in this one. It's hard enough trying to analyse the game without haveing to analyse 3 quarters of the alphabet to try and get a name out of there at the same time.
Logic Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Anyone know of online radio coverage? At work so that's my only option. BBC won't work because I'm a bloody OOC'er!!
RP Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 My first bet of the World Cup. I have bought South Korea over Togo at 0.6 goals.
sutty Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 My first bet of the World Cup. I have bought South Korea over Togo at 0.6 goals. what does that mean in practice? If SK win you get 0.4 + the margin of victory * your stake back?
Bootle Buck Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Turned on the TV and Tommy "Onion Bag" Smyth was commentating. The fecker spoils the game with his idiotic comments. Thank God the Koreans have one lad with blonde hair as the others all look a-like.
BDB Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I know its early bit neither of the teams appear to have any real attacking bite about them. Nice tackle into the back there on Park(the man united one)
Stevie H Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Thank God the Koreans have one lad with blonde hair as the others all look a-like. oh dear. are you john motson?
Boca Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Turned on the TV and Tommy "Onion Bag" Smyth was commentating. The fecker spoils the game with his idiotic comments. Thank God the Koreans have one lad with blonde hair as the others all look a-like. He was on PTI last week as ESPN's soccer "expert". Kornheiser and Wilbon kept calling him Tony
Bailo Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 oh dear. are you john motson? This is the team which Barry "Bazza" Davies got dropped after, when he made comments very similar to that last World Cup. Not heard of again.
Stevie H Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 gamblers - it's worth a bet on togo not finishing this game with eleven men.
BDB Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 That was one of the first real attacking movements of the game.. Well taken goal. Lets see how the africans hold onto a lead.
Kenny_ Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Thought Togo were alright myself. Well taken goal. Think things could have been different if they hadn't got that sending off. Still manage to create chances though they were ten men. South Korea weren't impressive I thought, they will have to raise their game if they're going to advance. Fancy Switzerland going through along with France myself.
Benitez Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 France: Fabien Barthez; Willy Sagnol,Lilian Thuram, William Gallas, Eric Abidal; Patrick Vieira, Claude Makelele; Franck Ribery, Zinedine Zidane, Sylvain Wiltord; Thierry Henry.
Guest Kev Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 One good thing to come out of this match, Graham Poll will probably get sent home for messing up his cards
Berger Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 One good thing to come out of this match, Graham Poll will probably get sent home for messing up his cards Haha. Would rather have him than Ripley.
surf Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 France: Fabien Barthez; Willy Sagnol,Lilian Thuram, William Gallas, Eric Abidal; Patrick Vieira, Claude Makelele; Franck Ribery, Zinedine Zidane, Sylvain Wiltord; Thierry Henry. Trez and Saha on the bench?
BDB Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Thought Poll had a good game tbh, pretty invisible which is how you want your refs to be
Benitez Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Trez and Saha on the bench? yep Subs: Boumsong, Chimbonda, Coupet, Dhorasoo, Diarra, Givet, Govou, Landreau, Malouda, Saha, Silvestre, Trezeguet. Switzerland: Zuberbuhler, Magnin, Senderos, Muller, Philipp Degen, Cabanas, Vogel, Wicky, Barnetta, Frei, Streller. Subs: Behrami, Benaglio, Coltorti, David Degen, Djourou, Dzemaili, Grichting, Gygax, Lustrinelli, Margairaz, Spycher, Yakin.
Stevie H Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 this lad barnetta is meant to be really good. and frei has a decent goal rate too. still think it's weird seeing chimbonda's name alongside zidane, henry, vieira, thuram et al.
Stevie H Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 ribery and abidal up that left hand side for france could be interesting if they combine well with henry. best national anthem in the world by chuffing miles.
