The most arrogant profession

Just wondering after a little story I was told yesterday...

 

Lawyers, Doctors, Pimps etc... Which do you think is the most arrogant profession as a whole and which profession has provided you with the most obvious example?

 

 

Let's call him Dave. Dave is/was a Consultant Cardiologist - resigned from the Nat Health to a) complain about them and b) do his law exams - he's now a barrister as well. He still does ops privately. Last week he took my sis to a Stock Brokers' do, a Point to Point thingy down south. She was there cos she works for these nice gentlemen. He was just driving that way and offered to take her (she used to work for him). When spotted, he was asked what he did and, quite honestly, responded by stating that he was a part-time Cardiologist and part time barrister/coroner (expert)... He was then offered £250 in cash to serve behind the bar cos they were short-handed.

 

My sis says that the only drink being served was champagne anyway.

 

He accepted too...

 

I would say that puts the brokers at number one.
