Saw it a few times in the last couple of games and more so tonight, why has it gone out the game over here???, There is nothing better than seeing a player almost dislocate his leg by hoofing the ball as hard as he can to clear it.

 

The Africans are past masters at it, one guy tonight very nearly went a*** over t** with the ferocity he hit the ball.

i do work for a chap that knew Jack Charlton very well back in his Ireland days, anyway, Chalrton said to him that Steve Staunton was by far and away his best player because he could the ball the furthest,

Amazing that people like Linekar was slagging Ireland's long ball tactics during Italia 90, but I wonder would he be slagging England's direct approach with their constant targetting of Peter Crouch with one long ball after another.
