Maldini Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 I will be cheering for the Iranians Two average teams though.
Benitez Posted June 11, 2006 Author Posted June 11, 2006 shame this one is on the Beeb, and not ITV. Would love it if Borgetti got a hattrick, and Fat Sam was squirming in the ITV studio when being asked why he never played him
Guest Jack Bauer Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 I'd like to hear David Pleat trying to pronounce the namse.
Maldini Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 "Because we had the best English forward in the league in Kevin Davies" would probably be his answer
_00_deathscar Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Not 'looking forward' to either game. Very average round today - infact group stages in general are shyte- SCRAP EM! O dear...looking forward to it even less now. 'Balboa' is commentating for ABC
Guest Scot Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 I will be cheering for the Iranians Two average teams though. Mexico are top 5 in the world!
Guest Scot Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Iran's nuclear missiles are aimed south from Washington to Mexico City
BDB Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Nicely worked setpiece.. Mexico 1-0.. Bravo with the goal. Iran appealing for offside.
_00_deathscar Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 It was a long time coming. Iran have threatened once in a while though, especially Madhavekhia (sp) - weren't we after him in Houllier's 2nd last year? Also, it's not the worst game ever, it's half decent - certainly better than England Paraguay. Also, how shyte are those rankings? PPS - Mexico have been ripping down that ring wing a lot. PPPS - Marquez's tackling is excellent.
BDB Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 oh now it's on.. like donkey kong 1-1 Another goal from a set piece.
_00_deathscar Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 PPPPS - WTF are these w*** commentators on about? Basically they're saying if you lose on penalties, you don't really 'lose' - it's a draw game (They're talking about Mexico in 1986 and saying their record was 3-2-0 - WDL) IRAN SCORES!!! YEA! Shyte keeping. Apparently there is a player on the Iran team (number 13) who can run the 100m in under-10 s.
_00_deathscar Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 To be fair, better that than the shyte that is spouted from their mouth when they talk about football. I also wish they'd stop talking about the rankings - purely because they're utter shyte. Madhavhikia can't cross.
Guest Scot Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Here we go again with the politics...SHUT UP, DIV!
_00_deathscar Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 The level of passing and crossing in the World Cup so far seems to be shyte. Be interesting to see Spain and Brazil play their first game. Here we go again with the politics...SHUT UP, DIV! Half time.
FakeNewsBear Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 who is the guests with gary linekar ......... who is the long haired guy
Benitez Posted June 11, 2006 Author Posted June 11, 2006 who is the guests with gary linekar ......... who is the long haired guy Leonardo
BDB Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 lol... code Borgetti has gone off injured, and with the mexicans already making a double substituion at half time, all subs are used up. Borgetti going off might encourage Iran to try and push on for a 2nd goal. Pretty slow start to the 2nd half.
