Andy @ Allerton Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Apart from the likes of Peter Kay - how many other genuine comedians are out there - capable of being funny without having to resort to belittling or slagging people off or otherwise acting like a git? In the 'good ole days' - you had the likes of Tommy Cooper, Ronnie Barker, Les Dawson and loads of others that had a gentle humour that appealed to everyone - they didn't have to resort to underhand measures, cheap digs are just plain nastiness to be funny - they just WERE funny. How many in the modern world exist today as the majority seem to centre their shows around them being, basically, gits.
