A question request for forumites and mods

Im seriously thinking of getting my s*** together and doing a charity bike ride from John o' Groats to Lands End.

 

Id love to do it and would be good to raise some cash.

 

So..................I would probably do it for a couple of charities close to home as it were and was thinking the HJC and also a charity for miscarriage research.

 

It wont be till next year cos' i would like to plan it properly.

 

Mods- could i set something up nearer the time through this site to cover the donations/sponsorship?

 

Forumites- How much would you guys and girls be prepared to chip in and has any one any experience of do's and donts for this type of stuff.

 

As you can see i am well prepared
