Ideally I'd like a new nation to win it. Holland, Portugal or Spain. Simply because of their contribution to the game, the many great players these countries have produced and the way they play football.

but why the need to hate teams from africa? they're generally no threat to winning it, their fans are usually among the best at the world cup (at least those who can afford to go) and they've contributed to some of the most memorable matches of recent world cups. find it hard to see any reason to 'hate' any african sides. . .

actually the reason might be because i don't feel teams from north africa receive the same adulation, even though the likes of egypt, morocco, tunisia and algeria (although not recently) have contrubted just as much.
