The idea of Beckham lifting the World Cup

Would you blame him if he did?

The exact opposite of my own opinion.

:D

If England had none of ours in the squad, I wouldn't be at all ar5ed about who wins in Germany. It is only the late inclusion of Carra (hope Gary Neville doesn't recover - actually I hope for much worse for him, but now isn't the time or the place) and the fact that the neanderthals have got off Crouchie's case that has given me some appetite for supporting England next weekend. Take those three out and I'd probably not bother even watching the game.

I can understand that way of thinking too. I just can't do it. I get more joy from the Liverpool players doing well and i'm loving what is happening with crouchy. I don't know if I get more joy out of it because i want england to well and am not fretting about Lampard or Rooney doing well.

Got to admit Crouchy's got me more interested as well. Seems to be really enjoying himself and that's what the World Cup is all about. Hate it being taken seriously. Footy in summer = fun!!

might you be making an appearance at The Greyhound in the next few weeks then?

face paint is not compulsory, btw...

Almost certainly stuck in Liverpool for the next six weeks. If events collide and I'm in London for a game then why not?

Something will ruin it between now and then anyway. Neville will make a c*** of himself or some such. Beckham will f*** me off in some way. Was f***ed off with Eriksson "b******ing" of Crouchy over the penalty but have managed to ride that storm. I only want to see the man himself though! Jamie at right back could perk me up too.

Just did the BBC predictor thing and England got to the semis by the way - the draw can really open up for them. I had their knockouts as Ecuador then Ivory Coast then Brazil.

Couldn't agree more.

Dunno - but I went to all 3 group games and the Spain quarter-final

I also went to the Portugal game in Eindhoven

Not very bothered about England any more really - and I've "been there and done that" regarding international footy (went to a few neutral games in France 98 too)

Do you support England Will, or are you like some of the miserable bar stewards on here and don't want us to win/couldn't care less? ;)

Gravy, f*** off back to your fairground eh?

Was a good thread till you stuck your big nose in.

You know f*** all about f*** all, and I'll carry on deleting your bullsh** if you don't taske the hint.

I actually had a dream that England got to the final. And just before the kick-off Gerrard called all the players into a 'huddle' and gave a speech. It was that good that Beckham handed him the captains arm band there and then.

England went onto to win it, but Gerrard gave the arm band back to Beckham and they lifted the cup together.

I then fast forwarded to the victory parade. They drove the bus around Warrington and Anny Road was the driver :o

I will be hoping they win the games they play - I will be cheering on Crouchie, SteG, Carra and little Mickey, and hoping that Rooney doesn't play at all - or does feck all if he does get a chance. And hoping Lampard doesn't score. Beckham I have grown less antagonistic towards

As Beckham lifts the Wolrd Cup trophy above his head (as if) Carra should jump on the back of the git, covering Beckham's face with his hand and then proceed to 'give it some' to the cameras, whilst actually shouting 'faster than you can say camera... faster than you can say camera'...
