The generation / age gap

Inspired by Murph being on MSN...

 

A couple of years back I was doing a presentation to various movers and shakers in a retirement village project, and in attendance was an 80 year old Lord.

 

So there I was setting up and as I was buggering about with the projector my screensaver kicked in (it was just one of them windows ones where it goes 1st person through a brick maze - so nowt special)

 

Anyway on seeing this the Lord stands up and starts proclaiming 'very good! very good!' and clapping his hands enthusiastically. The luminaries around him then start joining in and also commenting on 'my work' for the project so I had to politely tell them that this wasn't the presentation whilst trying not to make his Lorship look a right c*** on front of everyone, one of which was my boss from that time (who had also joined in the clapping even though he knew that this wasn't the presentation).
