"I have to mess about with PCs to get them to work"

Seems that the sentiments in the title seem to happen to a lot of people - quite a few people have remarked on it..

 

So I was wondering how I don't get problems with my PC - and yet others seem to have nightmares?

 

As I've previously said as I'm not a thief, I don't steal games, music or films from the internet and I don't frequent 'dodgy sites' - either porn or warez sites - so I'm wondering if doing the above is the key cause of problems?

 

I do install a lot of games and drivers and hardware - but as it's all legal - it seems pretty happy.

 

I also uninstall stuff that I'm not using for years and regulary defrag and check for problems.
