Jordan has just been on SSN, brilliant phone interview about the situation with Jim White, and its also shown pictures from a very amusing press conference,

Jordan is taking Dowie to court over fraudulant claims about leaving Palace, and a man from the courts issued the writ in the middle of the press conference :D, he then got man handled out of it.

It was absolutely hilarious, as was Jordans interview

It should not come as any surprise to him. You can't trust Dowie's brother either...completely screwed over a non-league club and their chance the make a bit of money out of the Fitz Hall transfer.

ridiculous. jordan can't tell dowie who he will and won't work for ffs. smacks of jordan playing up to the palace fans that.

Dowie told Jordan he was quitting to move up north to be with his family and Jordan let him go. Then Dowie joins Charlton with Palace not receiving any compensation because Jordan took Dowie at his word.

Think if Dowie walks over wanting to move back north and Jordan lets him and then a week later, without paying any compensation I'm sure, Dowie is Charlton manager he has a bit of a case.

Actually, I think Jordan is well within his rights on this one - he let Dowie walk out of a contract without claiming compensation because Dowie told him he wanted to move back up north to be able to spend more time with his family. I don't think Charlton is that much further north than Palace...

Dowie has screwed over the club and the fans. And while they may well deserve it...

Especially with Dowie having a million pound compensation clause in his contract which Palace now lose out on.

Unless Dowie signed something saying he wouldn't go there - and why the feck would he sign something like that? - then Jordan is bananas to even try issuing a writ.

f***ing hell! They already have to go to Selhurst Park, the worst place in the universe, every other week. They don't deserve any more punishment than that.

I think Palace have got a case but if it was only a verbal 'gentleman's agreement' - does Jordan have a leg to stand on?

Funny as ffuk though. And Jim White on sky sports

Simon Jordan may well have a very good case against Dowie Methinks

What's this about Dowie wanting to go north? He spent most of his time in Herts and Beds FFS? (not hearts and beds)

Where north? Outside the M25?

The most interesting aspect of this for me is discovering that Dowie has got a degree in Aeronautical Engineering which he got before turning pro.

It's not rocket science...
