Paul B Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I think we can get too wrapped up in thinking the further away or more exotic a location, the better it must be but it isn't necessarily true. I've travelled all over the place but I always regard certain places in Britain as being amongst the best places in the world. There are so many I could choose (although I must admit a preference for mountain scenery) such as Snowdonia, Dent, Yorkshire dales, etc but if pushed, I would say the Isle of Skye and specifically either Torrin, beneath the majestic Blaven or Elgol would have to top any list. That is of course, unless YOU know differently? Let battle commence....
