Favourite place in Britain you've ever been

I think we can get too wrapped up in thinking the further away or more exotic a location, the better it must be but it isn't necessarily true. I've travelled all over the place but I always regard certain places in Britain as being amongst the best places in the world.

 

There are so many I could choose (although I must admit a preference for mountain scenery) such as Snowdonia, Dent, Yorkshire dales, etc but if pushed, I would say the Isle of Skye and specifically either Torrin, beneath the majestic Blaven or Elgol would have to top any list. That is of course, unless YOU know differently?
