1) We weren't banned from Europe for five years. How would that great side have done?

 

 

2) Dalglish hadn't resigned. Would he have signed Flowers instead of James, Shearer instead of Paul Stewart, Colin Hendry instead of Julian Dicks etc...

No doubt in my mind, that side would have won at least two European cups. They would have just steamrolled over every side in the comp, including Milan.

We would have easily have overtaken Reals' then record 6 titles and today would have had 10 European Cups to our name.

If Munich hadn't happened you wouldn't have got the biggest sympathy vote in history, nobody would have supported you because of Duncan Edwards etc, glory hunting paddies would support Man City as the dominant club in the city and you'd be a scouser.
