Advance apologies for the quiz but with no footy to keep me sane, I have to occupy myself somehow and I'm already very short-sighted... Anyway, it is not too taxing.

You're the ref:

1) Player trips in penalty area, ref decides on a penalty. Player argues with ref to no avail that it was his fault and shouldn't be a penalty. Ref sticks to his decision. Player takes penalty and deliberately misses...

He does so by kicking the ball away from the goal and, inadvertanly, puts it in his own goal while everyone else is watching.

Does the own-goal stand?

2) Different game. Thunder-thighs takes a penalty and blasts the ball so hard that, when it bounces off the crossbar, it arcs all the way back over the pitch and into his own goal. No one else touched the ball.

Does the own-goal stand?

3) A player touches the ball four times in succession without any other player touching it. He also scores twice. How?

1. No goal the ball must be played forward at a penalty kick.

2. Yes the goal would stand.

3. He scores with the last kick off extra time then takes the first penalty having retrieved the ball from the net and given it to the ref. He scores twice but the keeper moved. The third one counted.

That ain't right is it even though it is? :)
