Looks like young Kelly from Spurs will start RB. Whether Finnan plays LB or RM, it's a bit disquieting. It'sa friendly, chance to give lads a run out but after teh debacleof Kerr's treatment of him I have a twinge of anxiety that Staunton considers him one of the few players good enough to play out of position. HArd to accept the best right back within a radius of about twelvty million miles not starting in his best position.

 

Staunton told the press yesterday that Finnan will be playing right mid if he's fit. Which is a bit odd considering today's papers are full of us going for a 4-3-3 formation.
