YNWA World Cup Competition

The site will be running a World Cup Competition, it’ll be just for fun and we’ll make it as easy as possible.

 

All you have to do is predict the score of each game.

 

To score points is pretty easy, if you correctly predict the correct number of goals scored by a team, you get 1 point. If you correctly predict the result you get 1 point. If you correctly predict the exact result you gain a bonus point.

 

The poster with the most points at the end of the World Cup will be the winner and the envy of the site

 

 

Eg. England 3 Trinidad & Tobago 1

 

Player 1 predicts 3-0

Player 2 predicts 2-1

Player 3 predicts 3-1

Player 4 predicts 4-0

 

Player 1 is awarded 2 points, for the correct result and number of goals scored by England.

 

Player 2 is awarded 2 points for the correct result and the number of goals scored by Trinidad & Tobago.

 

Player 3 is awarded 4 points for the correct result (with the bonus point for the exact score) and the number of goals scored by both teams.

 

Player 4 is awarded 1 point for the correct result.

 

 

There will be bonus points available if you correctly predict an 'incident' during each game, and you can choose what they are;

 

You can predict if a player scores, or if a player gets sent-off or booked.

 

For eg, if you say Rooney will score for England against Trinidad & Tobago, it doesn’t matter if he scores 1 or more, you will get 5 points for the fact he has scored.

 

If you say Lampard will get booked and he does, you will get 5 points.

 

If you say Beckham will get sent-off and he does, you will get 10 points.

 

But please note, you are only allowed one 'incident' per game.

But can we not have wildcard incidents and the bonus points for which can be chosen by someone ynwaish.

YOU CAN CHOSE ONE FROM THESE THREE INCIDENTS:

 

1) Naming a goalscorer correctly.

2) Naming a player who is cautioned.

3) Naming a player who is sent-off.
