Rushian Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Rafa not signed a new contract. His trusted lieutenant has left for Spain. The investment everyone assumed was signed, sealed and delivered when Rafa "turned down" Real Madrid is as far away as ever. The stadium is still being stalled by local politicians determined to force us into groundshare or a move outside the city. Even Spurs have a sponsorship deal dwarfing ours. We've still got a raft of players signed by Houllier unwanted by us or any other club (Diao, Cheyrou, LeTallec, Pongolle?). We've got two strikers in Cisse and Morientes unwanted by us, on lucrative contracts, and no one wants them or can afford them. We're being outpriced of what seem to be our targets with Alves to Barca, Kuyt to Newcastle and Johnson to Bolton. Mark Gonzalez still hasn't got a work permit as Chile remain outside the DoE's top 70 list. Aurelio has gone into hiding and Paletta is apparently going on loan to Italy. And we're no longer champions, champions of Europe.
stressederic Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Bloody hell thanks for that. Anyone got some razor blades, my day just took a big downturn.
Huyton_Red Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 You miserable f'cker "There will be four minutes of injury time, Gerrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaarrrrrrrrrdddddddddddddd f'ckin get in there"
c00p Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Did you get that job working for the Samaritans working on the help line m8.
Barnesy_10 Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 if you were to list the problems at Madrid, Chelsea or the Mancs the list would be greater and scarier...... albeit a s*** list to read as fans, on a management front many would be perfectly happy to have those dilemmas..

And we're no longer champions, champions of Europe. Rafa has years left on his contract and has stated categorically he isnt leaving.. He knew that was coming - for fasmily reasons You dont know that Good nothing can be done about that except hawk them out They have just signed a NEW deal, we are years into ours you dont know that....Cisse and Mori could well move...the window has only just opened Where have you read that Alves is going to Barca? Kuyt was a top target last year nothing to indicate that he is this...Andy Johnson????? ffs Mark Gonzales has a goopd chance of getting his work permit No but we have won the FA Cup, and what makes being CHampions of Europe so speacial is that you dont do it every year Christ almighty, I bet your fun for a night out these days eh
Guest Kev Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 There are two many bluenoses on the council who are not acting in the best interests of the people who voted them in. The new stadium is as far away now as it ever was in my opinion. The investment is as far away as it ever was. Thanks for this Steve, and there's me even coming around to the idea of enjoying the summer.
madaboutlfc Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 dont think there will be an investment.. Arsenal and us thought about building a new stadium at the same time and now they will have theirs and theres not much chance of us getting ours build
Fenderbaum Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 We're FA Cup Winners We just appeared in one of greatest cup finals ever. We have porbably the strongest midfield unit and defence in the league We have one of the worlds greatest players in Gerrard Benitez's trusy lieutenant is back off to Spain to do some scouting - and he was gutted to leave Robbie's back We've had our biggest premiership points total ever Mark Gonzalez is ace (apparently) Our Youth Team won the FA Youth Trophy Alonso adidas are back
anny road Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 i have never known a more pessimistic bunch of loonys in all my life get a f***ing grip
Figaro Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Alves has turned down Barca - albeit for the time being. Rafa has asked Mont Blanc to run him off a limited edition of 4 gold wrist***ches to be delivered May/June 2007. Stevie G is has had his anti-Fat Frank vaccination before buggering off with the Ingerlund squad. Morientes is staying and has sponsored a special Aztec human sacrifice ceremony that will enable him to score goals at the drop of a feather come the new season. Carragher has finally agreed to have English classes. Everton are still stuck in Woodison. Everton are still stuck with Moyes. Man Yoo are still stuck with Ferguson. Man Yoo are still stuck with the Glazers. Arsenal are stuck with a losers mentality. Hope that helps.
WillG Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Dont worry Rushian, the World cups in a couple of weeks *remembers Scotland didn't qualify . . . again* *c***s gun*

Benitez Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 By the way - Benitez trusted lieutenant is still here. Seems some still don't know the Paco's from the Pakos Paco Herrera had only ever worked with Rafa here at Liverpool, they never worked together before. Where as Pako Ayesteran has worked with him at the last 5 clubs he's been at. Now THAT is a trusted lieutenant !
madaboutlfc Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 its not looking good is it we have not signed anyone and Chelsea have signed Ballack and probably will sign Shevchenko.. Arsenal have signed Rosicky.. Even Spurs have made a big money signing
aka Dus Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Rushian is testing out his latest Mayflies. They are well tied, with well chosen coloring but haven't produced the quality of fish he was hoping for just yet...
