Doesn't link us to Johnson and is spot on about Souness

Simon Jordan, fresh from losing his manager yesterday, is resigned to saying goodbye to Andy Johnson as well, albeit not for less than £12m. Bolton have had an £8m bid rejected but with Wigan, Everton, Portsmouth and Spurs all in the hunt Jordan is confident that he'll get at least a seven-figure cheque. Meanwhile Graeme Souness looks set to bring his particular brand of grumpy underachievement to Selhurst Park.

can't imagine what souness could bring to palace. he's hardly well-versed at turning around struggling clubs is he?

He could divide the dressing room and hack all the players off. He's quite good at that!

I can't understand why any team with ambition would employ Souness at this stage. Although sacking him seems to result in a major upturn in fortunes, so perhaps there is a case to be made for it. 1 step back to take 2 forward. Or something.
