RIP.

That picture of him on the floor with his eyes open is awful, it would have been wise not to include pictures of him actually dead IMO.

That aside, what a terrible tragedy it was.

Horrible wasn't it.

Just horrible. The kind of picture that stays with you. The one when he's on the stretcher and his arm is flopped over the side of it is horrible too.

Didn't like that video at all.

I remember turning over to Eurosport when that game was happening. Seemed fairly dull so switched off. went online and someone broke the news a few minutes later on another LFC forum.

RIP Marc.

There's an even worse video of Miklos Feher floating around, similar thing with all the pictures of him playing then a video of him smiling at the ref seconds later he drops to the floor dead.

Its just the use of that pic of Foe on the ground with his eyes wide open. Its horrible and shouldn't be used. Certainly not in a supposed tribute to the guy.

The video of Feher is so sad. As you say, the shot of him smiling at ref then collapsing makes you want to cry

I agree and the press took a pasting for printing those pictures at the time if I remember correctly.

Yep. One tabloid actually put it on the front page

i was thinking about the lad the other day, the same thing happened to me swipe, watching the game switched it off... learned that he had died after the match.

I'm sure the film was made with the best intentions but it's strange that they felt the need to include that photo, I wish I hadn't seen it to be honest, reminds me of seeing my gran in the chapel of rest.

Was it a heart attack that killed Marc? I seem to remember at the time there was confusion as to what the cause of death was.

With me it was literally minutes, mate.

Turned off tv went upstairs and went on line.

Went into a forum i used to post on and there was a thread at the top saying R.I.P Marc Vivien Foe.

A dark day that... Was horrific watching that.

Thought the dignity and respect shown in the aftermath was great for the sport but fitting in the tribute sense.

He was a very good player and a footballing warrior.
