Guest heidar Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Jose Mourinho has revealed that he is willing to listen to offers for Eidur Gudjohnsen. What do you think, could he be a good signing for us?
G Richards Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 I think he is a very good player. He links midfield and forward very well, and he weighs in with his share of goals. If we were not getting 2 out and out strikers, but rather one absolute top notch one (say Torres), then Eidur would be great just behind him, especially if rumours of Garcia returning to Spain are true.
Rimbeux Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Kewell could give us what he could imo, when we need it.
kenny7 Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Would be hoping for a better player than Gudjohnsen, even as a link forward, I think we can aim and get better.
RafaShanks Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Would be hoping for a better player than Gudjohnsen, even as a link forward, I think we can aim and get better. What he said. Would be a good signing for Newcastle or Spurs
Guz Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 When he and Hasselbaink were together before Abramovich, they were the best strike partnership in the league imo but since then he's had to settle for a lesser role but still been important to Chelsea. I think he's a very good player, and the fact that he is accustomed to the league is excellent. Dunno if Chelsea would really want to sell him (or any player) to us though.
Guest spk Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 great player... imo could do an excellent job sitting in the hole behind crouch á la garcia. chelsea are never going to sell to us though as we're getting a little too close for comfort
harpoon Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 BUY HIM! (then hold him down and let Xabi break his legs, the cheating cvnt)
jfogarty Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 I heard a rumour the mancs are close to signing him. It came from a manc so its probably lies
Stevie H Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 talented player, but boy he's got a drink problem. stay away.
fyds Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 I'd heard that but had no idea if it was true or not - but knowing a couple of icelanders...
Ratters Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 Good player but not first choice for me Fowler is better for us next season and as second choice.
Guest Makaveli Smith Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 Massively under-rated player but he's the kind of guy you'd replace Crouch with.. you would maybe play him alongside Fowler... bang in more than the odd goal but set up a good few for the other striker too.
Guest SalvaTore Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 He is a f*uckin c*unt and he has always said some crap about Liverpool. (Fyrir utan allt það á hann ekki heima í liverpool)
Wiseman Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 Massively under-rated player but he's the kind of guy you'd replace Crouch with.. you would maybe play him alongside Fowler... bang in more than the odd goal but set up a good few for the other striker too. I think he would pair up very well with Fowler too! 2 very intelligent footballers. He is what we would have expected from Moro.
Kahnee Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 talented player, but boy he's got a drink problem. stay away. Seems to have a problem gambling as well, from what I've read

Benzo-13 Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 Seeing as Crespo's available I'd make a bid for him.. Proper striker that lad..
Cooldude Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 drinking problem, gambling problem, cheated his wife, beside that a nice fella.. Give me a sportsman who doesn't cheat on his girlfriend/wife and I'll give you a dumb sportsman 99% of them do it Having said that, agree that he's a c*** and would fit in perfectly at Man Utd
