Anyone use Itunes?

Thinking about getting an I-pod (yes - I'm a dinosaur!) and though I know most of the stuff I'll put on there will be stuff I already have plus the odd recommend, I was wondering if anyone uses Itunes. Have been on the site there and they also do comedy and other stuff.

 

Spoke to a mate who uses a Russian download service but I'm unsure of whether I'd be too willing to pass over my CC details

 

Anyone recommend Itunes or any other service like it - pros and cons and costs would be appreciated. Have been on the itunes site but it's just a load of old balls and doesn't answer what i want to know.

 

I'd usually just limewire stuff but recently I've noticed that some of my downloads have blue text in the file description in comparison to the stuff I downloaded before which had black text. Maybe I'm being paranoid here but want to keep things all legal like.
