Spike Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 My boss is part of a five man development team and represents our UK business on the team alongside the heads of radio, tv, online, and print publishing from our parent company in the US. The commitee has given the go ahead for the first project of this initiative which involves a completely different direction for our business, and he has asked me to represent our business which will involve me working with others from tv, radio etc in the US to develop the business plan and propose it's implementation. I'm s***ting it to be honest as it really puts me under the spotlight but pretty chuffed that I have been asked to be on the project and represent all of our papers and websites interests, and of course the silver lining on this silver lining will be the odd two week trip out to the US. It may even open up some career prospects over there as well like this man . Told the folks tonight and they are made up.
