End of an era at Arsenal ?

There are doubts about the future of Henry , Ljunberg, Cole and Reyes.. Pires and Bergkamp are definitely gone so is this end for Arsenal for a couple of years.. Paul Merson last night thought theyd struggle to finish top 4 and there will be shortage of money to invest in the squad.. Can they realistically challenge for the title next season ?

shortage of money? They've commited £30+ mill to transfers in the last 12 months, the dosh seems to be there.

 

I really think Henry will stay, and if Wanger makes a couple wise transfers in the summer, then I think they are still in very decent shape and will be more than challenging.

 

Rumours of their demise are greatly exaggerated!

They have some of the best young talent around

 

Eboue, Senderos, Clichy, Diaby, Van Persie, Reyes, Fabregas, Toure and Walcott are all very young and could be around for years to come. They could field an u-23 team that would finish top 10. They need a decent young keeper and a skipper (someone like Reo-Coker) who can get them going and they would be a very good team. On there day there is no-one to touch them.
