what can happen if you dont work your notice?

My lass handed her notice in today, she has only worked there 4 month. She said her boss was being a nob all day about it and got her in the office saying he wanted her to work a months notice and saying if she doesnt she would lose her pay and holidays etc...

 

She said she would work 2 weeks.

 

Can he take her holidays off her I thought once you had worked to accrue hols they couldnt take it back off you.

 

She says he was being a right prick all day being awkward her etc, she hated the job as it is and got offered a better position back with her old company.

 

I told her just to tell him to f*** right off and leave.
