RafaShanks Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Gutted if this is true: http://forum.liverpoolway.co.uk/showthread.php?t=32663
Tetti Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 He saw my banner yesterday and waved and gave it / me a thumbs up for it.
Guest Kev Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I'm afraid it might be. Hearing similar stories but didn't really give much to them until now.....
Nebraska Red Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 as good as he is popping up with fantastic goals at just the right time, he must be a nightmare for a manager who wants consistency from his players. if his sale brings us a player who can score goals AND play with more consistency, then so be it. it will be interesting to see how much he brings in, given what we paid for him.
redpool Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Hope it doesn't happen. I would even miss the thumb sucking (of course he always scores before he doest that!) You can tell he loves the shirt and has had some massive goals for the club. If it is because of family than I understand and truly wish him well. Big game player!
Cam Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Noooooo!!!!!! He's my choice for playing up front next season - him and a new centre-forward. Suffered a touch of 'difficult second album syndrome' this season but is the only forward with speed AND intelligence. A goalscorer on the big occasion. We have problems to address in the team but if Rafa thinks he's one of them and keeps some of the more obvious ones again I'll.... I'll.... I'll be very miffed or something.
Guest spk Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 anyone know what this stuff is regarding his family?
Guest Red Mist Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 If we can squeeze out £8-10M for the little fella then it would be a great bit of business. Love him for all his goals but he's such a frustrating little b*stard. I wish him the best of luck IF he does go.
Guest JV Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Be sad to see him go even though hes frustrating at times. But you can forgive him when he turns a game with something sublime
Maldini Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Damn you Knox Harrington...damn you to hell. You made this happen. Damn you and damn your flawless logic We must be signing somebody special if Garcia is being let go though
jfogarty Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 I love Luis but if Rafa wants someone else then thats good enough for me
Guest Pinto Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 No No No No and No I´ll cry myself to sleep for a week Must be at his request if true.
Crazy Horse Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Same thread on TLW talks about Finnan being replaced. That'd be a shock.
Guest anfieldgirl Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 No way! It'll be a real shame if this is true. I think he's an important member for us!
Guest Makaveli Smith Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 we all know the story, Garcia is a guy who can be amazing and also incredibly frustrating. Now that I've heard thathe might be leaving I have to admit that I feel a lil disapointed. He seems a likable fella overall. Maybe its for personal reasons what with his family or maybe he just doesn't like the weather in liverpool. Might sound like rubbish but when you're used to the climate and culture of Spain... well... England. Im Irish, we've the same crappy weather over here, I've often thought of leaving for a sunnier palce myself. god give me strength
fyds Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 It would be a bit silly to have a leaving do for someone who has not signed for a new club yet - and probably won't.
Maldini Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Another lad on there is mates with Adam Hammill, he reckons it was just a club do, all the reserves were there too.
fyds Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Another lad on there is mates with Adam Hammill, he reckons it was just a club do, all the reserves were there too. That would make more sense - a bit of a get together post Cup win and pre World Cup split.
