Seems like the Basel fans couldn't handle the team blowing two chances to win the title. Saw the fans invading the pitch on TV and going for players.

 

The point hardly needs to be made that were this an English club UEFA would be handing bans left right and centre. But when it's Swiss....

Yeah because the English are hard done by picked on supporters aren't they.

 

With the exception of the obvious, when were English supporters taken to task for the England v Turkey game, England v Ireland, France 98, Euro 2000, Fulham v Chelsea, Utd in the FA Cup Semi at Villa Park a few years back etc etc etc

That point is rubbish though. I can't think of a single instance of an UEFA ban being imposed on any club in any league for something that happened in a domestic game.

 

If your point had been that there's a serious crowd control problem in Switzerland then I couldn't have agreed more BTW.

Not having a good time of it in Basel by all accounts.Had a great time when we were there,just bloody expensive.
