Am I the only one who noticed this? Gerrard was commenting on the team in an interview before the game and when talking of our strikers next year he went on to say the usal stuff thatnpeople say... but when he went through them he named Fowler Crouch , Morientes... he never even mentioned Cisse.

 

That to me clearly says that Cisse is off and Nando is staying.

didnt he also mention a 'poacher'? Thought I heard him say that on the beeb. Kinda rules out Bent/Bellamy doesnt it? I dont know about Kuyt - never seen him play - so dont know what type of striker he is.

Cisse's goal was class but before that he'd done sod all that i could notice. He didn't take a risk with his runs, didn't really offer himself, just stood around and waited for the perfect pass or knock down from Crouch.

Morientes came on and gave us something extra, helped us retain possession. The problem was West Ham had 2 or 3 defenders on him and denied him space in their area.

 

Cisse has scored goals but he'll be sold to make way for someone who scores and plays better football.

The boots fiasco was just an embarrasment. Odd boots in the first half, then bright Yellow in the second. He was obviously getting paid more money to wear both sets, the bling t***.

Agree entirely, I think only a lack of funds will stop this happening.

 

Crouch, Fowler and 2 from Bent/Bellamy/kuyt/Owen/Torres looks pretty good to me.

I still can't believe that after the two performances yesterday. You're still having your Morientes w***fest. Morientes was terrible, Cisse scored a goal - end of. I know Cisse wasn't too useful from the 2nd half on, but Morientes wasn't useful at all at any point and he didn't even have a "fake" injury as an excuse. He should have been fresh as a daisy running like a mainiac like Gronkampo or Momo. Cisse should only leave if Morientes leaves first.
