What a magnificent pro he is. 2 hours of intense footie and he still has the nuts to step forward and take a peno. Fair enough he missed but during the game I thought he was excellent yet again and I was surprised he had the legs to carry on.

Hopefully Sami and Hamann will be kept on ice for another season or two to be played when it really fecking counts.

 

While I'm here a special mention to Hamann as well. Simple solid and mature. Like a great old oak tree.

you've just answered it yourself though... Penos go to the players who are the most settled for it. Penosare not about finishing ability... they are about the mind and the fact that Hyypia missed is beside the point... he should have taken one.
