Pardew wasn't very popular with their fans for some reason at the start of the season, is that right? He might be by now.

Top quality, had it been us against another of the so called big teams it probably would have been a very cagey and dull game, West Hams positive approach made sure it was a classic game.

 

Still not quite sure how the players managed to win this one after a very long season a lot of credit must go to the coaching staff.

 

Hope their fans get many more days out in the not so distant future

2 years ago they wanted shut of him - shows what a patient board does for you. They were absolutely brilliant.

that Reo-Coker really is a great player, and Banayoun too

Agree totally. A really class bunch, all of them.

 

Benayoun was just superb, Reo-Coker is just class. Anton and Gabs in the middle were great. Why Konchesky wasn't in the England squad over Bridges, I don't know.

Well done the team. The fans I'm not so sure of - booing players for getting cramp! But a great performance from the team.

Their fans were great, their manager has the right approach, they play good football. Can't dislike any of their players. They gave everything and for the first time ever i find myself feeling sorry for a team thats lost a final to us.

 

I may feel different when the dust has settled but you can't knock West Ham.

West Ham didn't play well, it was us who played terrible. Two of their goals were gifted and the third was a total fluke. We scored three class goals, overall we deserved to win.

 

Also Gerrard, what a screamer for the equaliser!

Gotta say, I think Pardew is a right prick. Complete poser. Bargain bucket Mourinho.

 

There's a bit too much arrogance in some of their younger players. Ferdinand and Reo-Coker look like t***s.

 

Should be proud of their contribution to that game, though.

It's a pity they had to lose. Against anyone else I would have been willing them to win.

 

We gave them two goals but even still they kept true to their fighting spirit. I thought for a long time destiny was pulling for the hammers.
