Morientes.

Rafa doesn't trust Cisse for the big games.

I'm really not sure how Rafa's going to play this one. Could even see Stevie behind Crouch with Cisse on the right. I keep thinking that he'll just play the first choice midfield with Crouch and Morientes but Cisse has been in good form recently.

Personally I'd like to see us trouble them with a bit of pace up front so for me I'd like to see Cisse play....I think Raffa will probably go with Morientes and look to bring Cisse on in the second half...whatever he decides is alright by me!

All this "pace" stuff. It's no good having pace if you can't use it properly...

We keep the ball better with Moro and Crouch, which is vital to the way we play.

Bring Cisse on as an impact sub with 20 minutes to go.

Also my thoughts.

All this 'pace isn't important' stuff, at least Ciise has pace and can't use it properly. Nando doesn't have pace and doesn't do a hell of a lot else properly from what I've seen of him this season.

Ciise's been looking better in recent weeks so I'd give him a run out. I don't think Raffa will and as he knows far more than me I'll trust his judgement.

Cisse had a great came against westham on the left wasnt it ??? well why not start him on the right and they can switch a bit to keep westham on their toes. West Ham like a high line whilst attacking as there defenders have some pace so why not try to bring some real pace into it to scare them back abit.

West Ham are likely to play Collins and Gabbidon as CBs and Ferdinand at Full Back, they won't risk Scaloni (as he's sh**e). Ashton and Harewood up front.

If we get an idea that Scaloni might play after all, I'm 100% sure Cisse would start - as it seems unlikely, I guess it'll be Morientes.

Crouch and Morientes has NEVER worked.

Seemed to be working earlier in the season when we won quite a few on the spin...

Good thing the winner is determined by possession time then.

Highly unlikely I know, but I would start with Cisse on the left, with Kewell playing off Crouch.

Kewell and Cisse could also obviously swap positions during the course of the game and that may drag the WH defenders all over the place.

And assuming Alonso is fit, he would be in the middle with Momo, and Gerrard out right, and he too could also swap during the game iwth Kewell.

I would've thought, that given that the pitch in Cardiff is so large and that Ferdinand struggled against Cisse in the away game, Cisse will start on the wing with Kewell in behind Crouch.

We'll hit long balls over the full backs to Cisse and Gerrard early in the game to get their defence to lie deeper so that we can get a bit of space to play in. I'd also expect Kewell, Cisse and Gerrard to swap positions so that the defenders struggle with who to pick up and, especially in the case of Kewell and Cisse don't know whether to get tight or to give them space to turn.

More possesion=controlling the game=goals=win

It beats giving the ball to Cisse, watching him lose it, and constantly putting us on the back foot.

I can't believe that people are ACTUALLY saying Morientes should play... Get a grip, have you not been wtaching us this

season?

Cisse, for all his faults, scores goals for us and for all those who say they are never important ones - the super cup final.

He also gives us another option. Nando and Crouch is Cup Final Suicide.

Cisse DESERVES his place after his recent performances, like the two against WEST HAM and he surely must be the man.

I agree, I think Cisse deserves his place tomorrow.

I'd play him and Crouch up front. Gerrard, Kewell and Cisse can all swop positions then throughout the game and confuse the hell out of West Ham.

Cissé deserves to play. He's in better form than Morientes atm, and he also gives the team more possibilities(!). With Nando and Crouch up front we are pretty much stuck with a 4-4-2 unless we bring on a sub. With Djibs on the pitch we can easily switch between 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1 and also 4-3-3, without making any substitutions.
