Aurelio 4 year deal according to Marca

El expreso interés de Rafa Benítez por hacerse con el jugador valencianista ha primado más que cualquier otra oferta que pudiera recibir Fabio Aurelio, que ha preferido volver a estar bajo las órdenes del técnico español en Liverpool, con el que coincidió en Valencia durante tres temporadas. El jugador llega libre y ya ha empezado su formación para adaptarse a la Premier. De hecho ya lleva dos semanas dando clases de inglés.

He's got a brilliant left foot, thats about as much as I know about him.

Seen him on La Liga a fair bit in the last couple of years - when fit is way above average. can be brilliant given a manager who uses him properly. Very solid and reliable type.

Techincally very good. Has a mean left foot and shot. Good on set pieces. Not the quickest and might struggle in our league.

according to our kid, who watches spanish football incessantly, aurelio is very, very good. he didn't go as far as 'f***ing brilliant'.

I haven't seen much of him but it sounds like a good deal.

 

An improvement on Warnock and Traore and can put some pressure on Riise, who's done well at LB this season.

 

A bit like what happened at RB, where Kromkamp so far has shown himself as a better back-up for Finnan than Josemi.

Not even sure if he's been capped at full international level tbh, there is a bit of competition for that left back role

 

I know he played for Brazil in the olympics though.
