I think though it's how they play as a team. When Kenny won the league at Blackburn, he had Sherwood and Ripley in midfield, and at the time they were not considered world beaters. Kenny is big on team spirit and morale, it's why he wants his targets in quick so they get settled and start to take the piss out of each other. I remember a first interview by Kenny after he took over, he mentioned how quiet the dressing room was, no banter, no talking no nothing. Having a group of players who are all mates and who all can laugh at themselves and each other is imperative to a successful team.
