Bemused, it's just completely gone against why there is a pre-season and it's nothing but a joke and it will only piss everyone off.

Why is our pre-season tour turned into a wake for the deadwood and stiffs ? I was looking forward to this now I probably wont bother seens as its turned out to be a practice match.

The Manc game is the weekend before European competition and not the weekend after so it's OK (I think) EDIT. Double checked the Manc game is safe. If we were in Europa League - games that would have been affected. Spurs (a) - already moved for tv Everton (a) Norwich (h) Swansea (h) Fulham (a) & Villa (a) would also be at risk of moving.

Totally agree with your assessment, however I do believe it's vital we get Reina back asap.

Doni may actually start the season and allow Reina more time to recover and get back to fitness. It may explain why we were after Friedel.

Don't really want Shelvey, Aquilani or Meireles to go on loan to a Prem club.
