If it is a wind-up it's one of the most long-winded, determined wind-ups I've seen in a while. Have you seen the sheer quantity of patronising drivel he's written in the comments section? Defies belief. -
Weren't we due to get up to £500K dependent on appearances for his transfer to Bolton? Wouldn't that be null and void now since number of appearances = 0? Maybe it's just a dodgy scheme by Pearce and Allardyce to do us out of some money.

Agree 100%. Switched on to BBC1 and immediately thought WTF and hunted for whatever channel they'd shoved the Croatia-Aussie game. It was always going to be a much better game. But of course the BBC will always show Brazil given the choice. -

I'm pretty sure Simunic was booked in the 62nd. Remember it well as it was Kewell involved. He skipped past Simunic (got half hacked) then played a one-two with another Aussie. Simunic blocked him off with a raised hand and got a yellow. 90% certain it was him. -

Looking at the replay I'd be VERY surprised if it was anything other than a break. The bottom of his leg was at a very unpleasant ankle. Best we can hope for I think is that it was a clean break and heals quickly.
