Things is though, if that points difference is to be made up it'll take the mancs losing 4 games and us winning the respective games. And if that happens then the goal difference will be at least 8 goals better in our favour - so if (and it's a big if) they do start losing some more games then we may find that goal difference advantage has eroded away. -

All that sounds completely wrong to me. a) It wasn't in the top corner at all, nothing like it. b) The majority of goalkeepers in the Premiership would have saved it IMO. c) Putting a man on the line doesn't work that well. Ah well, second half. 4-4 and a win by penalties - here we come.

Thank you for that well thought out reply. Very constructive. We've had the better of play for about 40 minutes and then caved in in the last ten. Look at their last 3 goals - Dudek rooted to the spot after a dodgy free-kick, comedy goal off Song's hand and a blatant offside. Arsenal have had 4 shots on goal and scored 4 times. We've passed the ball around quite well (with a few exceptions) but, you know, sometimes things go completely and utterly against you. And this is one of those times.

To be honest, as a team we haven't played that badly. Some gutless performances from certain individuals and just an incredible amount of marginal decisions going against us is what's to blame. I honestly hope Dudek gets subbed at half time.
