  1. Don't link to him mate. Don't give him the oxygen. Constantly writing lies about us and we asked for a retraction and he refused, we offered him a meeting one day in Liverpool and he said no because Liverpool is not neutral. Just let him hang himself.
  2. SOS will be doing the leaflets again and a wider campaign, but everyone can play a part. Talk to people in the pub, the fella next to you at the match, wherever. Talk to them about the situation we are in and what we can do about it.
  3. Exactly.
  4. Chester City it was. Against Eastbourne. The numbers were in their 10's so would be hard to work at a top level game at those numbers. Details of it here http://www.chesterchronicle.co.uk/chester-...59067-25280429/
  5. Can see where you are coming from and are press release will have gone out, but look at the mach. There was at least 5000 there but some media said there was only a few hundred there. You have to look at what is feasible and what will get the most support. It is hard to get it perfect every time, but have to try and do something that will give you a fighting chance.
  6. As was said above a boycott was voted against so not so sure a walkout would be supported either. You could only ever walk out when we were winning as well. Imagine the headlines if we walked out at 2-0 down at half time even if it was pre planned some media would still like to paint a picture how they want it.
  7. It is on Sky Sports 2. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12942,00.html ITV has one game on a wednesday and they have got Arsenal so we are on Sky.
  8. The reasoning behind this was like what the above posters have mentioned. Only asked for Protests during the game at Leeds before and we are asking for people to do it now in what some seem as a meaningless game. Too soon for another march, Boycott was voted against by our members at the last mass meeting and most tickets were bought prior to going out. Not just wanting two banners at the front though and 300 people chanting stuff at the back. We want 50 banners if not loads more and thousands chanting stuff.
  9. Peter Hooton is doing a few book signings & Q&A's tomorrow if anybody is interested- in conjunction with Simon Hughes who wrote Secret Diary Of A Liverpool Scout. 11am Pritchards - Formby 12.30 Pritchards - Crosby 2pm Waterstones Liverpool One with Alan Kennedy. http://www.amazon.co.uk/When-Football-Was-...1466&sr=1-1 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Secret-Diary-Liver...0882&sr=8-1

  12. Remember the black leafelets we handed out. They had a list of questions on the back to various people including Moores. We never got a response.
  13. That was last years march. We hopefully should be putting out a video of the march at some point as well.
  14. Don't know where they got the 10,000 from since they took everything from the Goal.com interview above. Lets prove them wrong though. Lets get more than 10,000 there.
  15. We knew it all along, but we can shout it from the rooftops now we have proof.

  17. Spread this to everyone you know. Let them see the proof. Put it on Facebook, Twitter, e-mail it to mates. Let everyone know. More videos to follow as well.
  18. Secret Diary of a Liverpool Scout is also getting signed as well. Davey Fairclough and Ian Callaghan are there as well. Would be boss as a christmas present.
  19. He was scared there would be a welcoming party for him in Liverpool.
  20. I am guilty more than most with clicking on that site, but couldn't sit back after what he was saying about the union, particularly saying that the meeting with Gillett didn't happen, but in the article about Rafa's spending the meeting with Gillett is quoted from. Myself and Graham from the committee offered to meet him to get the truth to him (even though he should know it already) and get him to retract his article. He wouldn't meet us in Liverpool because he said it wasn't a 'neutral venue.' He offered to meet us in Birmingham of London instead. Don't know if it will actually go ahead now as he was backing away from it after we called his bluff. Graham is on the case of it all now.
  21. Didn't quite mean it like that. Myself personally is supportive of Rafa as an individual. As a union we are supportive of the position of manager and the traditions with the club were the manager should not be undermined. What I meant was it is not our position to say sack Rafa or back Rafa according to any tactics. Its not what the union is for. We want to show the failings and lies of Gillett for what they are and his comments about Rafa and the transfers are that. He says blame Rafa if things aren't going well to hide his mistakes, but later in the same meeting he calls Rafa a genius. That February meeting he shows how he feels about Rafa but Rafa was offered a new contract with more responsibility. Thats what I meant, we do support Rafa as he is being undermined, but its not for us to comment on tactics etc which sometimes get dragged into it and something that can be misconstrued if people thought we left parts out of interviews deliberately because of it.
  22. Problem is, its some press who have twisted it a certain way and why should we withhold any information as well. If the Rafa stuff was left out and it got revealed somewhere down the line then people would complain that we are Pro Rafa which is something that has been aimed at us before, when we are Pro Liverpool.
  23. And we try to pull him up on that at the time and afterwards. As I said meeting was unexpected, so its like going into an oral exam unprepared and expecting to remember everything. It wasn't all bad press. This time some papers tried to twist it which I was unhappy about, but a lot of people will see through it. Our reply will help those who can't see through it. Positive press after meeting with him in February http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-f...00252-22834471/ And it wasn't SOS who leaked the interview, and we had even mentioned the interview before with what we told was talked about. http://www.spiritofshankly.com/news/Direct...m-Saturday.html
  24. Unforunately everyone doesn't know they need to go. Gillett has been pulled up on things in that meeting and previously as well when it came to 60 days comment. In February he denied he said it when we said it was in the press conference, and now he says it was Hicks. Those questions have already gone to him. Remember the Leaflets he gave out at Stoke and Burnley, particularly with the questions on the Burnley one. We received no reply back from him. As for Mass Rally. I would be all for it, but only if I felt it would get the support. It might get a bit more now after us releasing this information but didn't do against Hull when not enough turned to protest when Gillett was actually here. Great work by some that day, especially Jay Mc ensured that it turned out well, but it could have been the case were people are saying there was 4000 last season against United but less against Hull.
  25. The meeting wasn't with any committee members, just a normal SOS member. Even then remember the meeting Jay Mc had with Gillett in the Crowne Plaza. The meetings didn't stop then. Wont affect it whatsoever. All apart from one of the meetings with Gillet have been impromptu and Hicks has never met with us, so nothing changes there because they stay the other side of the Atlantic and try to keep quiet.
