  1. Around 4,000 paid up members. But many more that support us shown by attendance on marches and the near 15,000 fans on facebook.
  2. Spirit of Shankly only represents our members. We understand that people at the club are busy and have been patient with them up to now.
  3. That is an understatement as well on timing. We will do what we can. Will probably be morning at earliest. Needs full agreement on committee on this. Trust me, we definitely are not.
  4. They were due to, but there have been complications to say the least. They wont be out tonight now. We will get them out to members as soon as you can. You will understand this extra delay when you see them.
  5. Keeping the ninja bunnygirls in the bedroom for now.
  6. If you join now you probably wont make the e-mail contact list in time, but you will be on it for next time. If you agree with what we do and think we are acheiving things then here is the link to join if you want to use it. http://www.spiritofshankly.com/join.html
  7. Don't want to start commenting on it before members receive the minutes. The statement says how it went and we hope to get the minutes out as soon as possible.
  8. While not trying to tease it is only fair we agree the minutes with Purslow and let our members know first
  9. Yes. http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/liverpool-fc/liverpool-fc-news/2010/01/21/liverpool-fc-kop-most-amazing-sight-in-football-says-harry-redknapp-100252-25652549/
  10. Tonight's the night. Everyone down the Shankly Gates at 6pm.
  11. Should really me like -£4m for us now as well.
  12. Spending of teams since May 2008 below from here http://www.anfield-o...able-of-shame/. Doesn't include this transfer window so we will have made profit. The teams we are challenging for 4th have the three highest spends. Current Premier League Teams Net transfer spending since May 2008 Man City £215,090,250 Aston Villa £74,608,700 Spurs £58,606,500 Stoke £45,421,150 Sunderland £32,026,650 Wolves £18,449,700 Fulham £16,220,250 Bolton £15,686,250 Hull £14,324,550 Birmingham £10,715,600 Chelsea £9,865,650 Burnley £6,421,350 Everton £3,337,500 Liverpool £1,921,500 Wigan -£14,284,500 Arsenal -£19,001,500 West Ham -£21,902,900 Man Utd -£24,831,000 Blackburn -£30,099,800 Portsmouth -£52,465,500
  13. Put this up on a few forums already and is a bit of interest in it. Who would be up for getting the flags out on Anfield Road as the coaches come in to show the lads even more that we are behind them. Loads of flags and wavers and as many people as possible needed. Meet down at the Shankly Gates at 6pm, to set up wavers and then can spread out a bit down the road so there is enough space for the flags for when the coaches come around 6.30. Scare the Spurs players and make our lads feel 10 feet tall when they walk off the coach and then into the ground early to sing on the lads with a loud 'European Night' atmosphere.
  14. I agree with that. But then every Liverpool FC should be expected to act honourably. If they don't then we need to keep on pressing with the issue as it shows further the contempt they have for the fans. Liverpool are unwilling to make comment on it so far. Says it all to me, about the club thinks of fans at the moment.
  15. Don't let it blow over then. Noel White resigned in 2006 for conduct unbecoming of a director. So Hicks Jr should resign as well.
  16. To those on twitter who have added Ryan Babel. http://twitter.com/RyanBabel/status/7609475802 He had a Twitter interview for his followers last night. Thought I would ask him does he like Tom Hicks and George Gillett? or what he thought of the owners. His response "We need money for the club !!" To those who haven't got twitter or who aren't following him, then check out the story below which includes a screenshot of it where he has 'retweeted' my question and answered it saying we need money. http://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/127547-ryan-babel-tells-liverpool-fc-owners,-we-need-money-for-this-club.html
  17. Probably helped us over here with hardly any games on as well. Part of the problem with getting anything in the press.
  18. Hopefully yes. All the three have replied to me before, so could be a chance they don't work on weekends. Was told there was a big cowboys game last night or something, so don't know when they can run with it as well. Been told that some should still be running it tomorrow as well over here, so should hopefully be a day or two more coverage on it.
  19. Was done last night. Star, Dallas News and Dallas Observer. Contacts we already had. Dallas Observer have got it on their site. http://blogs.dallasobserver.com/unfairpark/2010/01/you_kiss_your_father_with_that.php
  20. It was. He sent him Dominic King's article from the echo questioning Rafa's ability to spend and he got those two replies. Regardless of that. It is not the behaviour expected of a director. If anyone sent that e-mail to a customer of their company, then they would be sacked. No difference here.
  21. It has reached Texas. http://blogs.dallasobserver.com/unfairpark/2010/01/you_kiss_your_father_with_that.php
  22. Not about that at all. First meeting with Purslow our aims were made clear with them. If he wants to make it any different to what we set out there then that will be the end of it.
  23. Yes. But its something we are always trying to do. Thommo said because he was involved with Share Liverpool he didn't want to speak out further for SOS. Some aren't interested in politics of it all as well. On a similar note. During the Arsenal protest Jan Molby came out of the car park opposite Shankly Gates and was waiting to cross the road to go into the main stand car park. I gave him a leaflet and another lad started saying to Jan that he should speak out against the owners for the good of the club. Didn't say a word back to either of us. I think if we do it right, eventually we may get some ex players involved, but you get some who have made their bed already, others who are away from it and don't know enough so don't want to get involved and others who have other affiliations.
