    My favourite digs at Everton are when they're at their most unnecessary, punching-down point, so a wall of Catherine wheels spelling out EVERTON ARE s***E as we lift the trophy would be ideal

    I think that's the reason why we haven't moved yet, none of those Origi level transfers are happening yet so we've got no idea how much we'd be getting for them. I'd expect us to do some business near the end of the window. We might even discover we're able to throw around a fair bit of money, it's just that no one knows at the minute.

    It would be nice to find a young attacker who we can sell the idea of being an understudy to mané and Salah for their first few years. Learn from the best. Was going to say Sarr at Watford but think the AFCON moving to winter put paid to us looking at any more players from there.
