God yeah, would be a pain if they finally sorted that left back position they've already thrown about £200 million at. Yeah I'd like to think that sterling will be a big loss for them in the dressing room.

I think our confidence has only ever come from thinking that we've got the player on board with joining us. Sure the hope is that the asking price might be a bit less next summer with a year less on his contract, but would still rely on the player digging in his heels and saying he only wants to come to us.

Yep as others have mentioned earlier, think Saka is nailed on for City. Both parties have done well to keep it quiet while they've been manoeuvring (sterling out, raphinha in at arsenal)

Are we telling our favourite Mane stories? I was at Bayern away, felt like everything went slow motion as the ball dropped to him from Virgil. One of my favourite Liverpool players of all time. The way he fought like a mad man, all the while with a big grin on his face. Defenders just didn't know what to make of him. When he would make a point of absolutely exploding into the opposition full back early doors. f***ing loved him

I thought it sounded as though we were matching Real's offer, he just chose them. Oh well. So yes it all feels like we're doing the same as we did with Alisson and Virgil, the worry is that Bellingham has an amazing season/ world cup and the oil state lads move in Hadn't heard about this, I'd worry that a loan for someone at that age would be more about him finding a club as opposed to gaining experience. I still like him, mind you. Think he could do a job in the squad next season

What's Bellingham's contract situation going to be come next summer? He seems like a nice lad, and Haaland's move only turned into a wages auction because of his agent/ dad. I can imagine us being ready to put decent money up for him next summer. Anyway, I've decided that Elliott is going to 'go sick' next season, as our data analysts would put it

Gundogan's supposed to be after a move. Sterling goes into the last year of his contract next year so they might look to shift him

I mean as far as Bayern are concerned he is. Also don't think we'd be signing him if Mane was signing a new contract.

I dunno, if you compare how many minutes Mane got last season as opposed to say Ox (or anyone outside our starting 3 in midfield), think a replacement forward is the most pressing issue
