Yep. Particularly the title winning season. 28 wins 1 draw when season was paused. That team I am convinced would have finished the season unbeaten.

Fair summary. Also maybe bottling it is too strong a word but losing at home to Villa and losing to Bayern are games they should have won. They do also have a very shallow squad. Their CB partnership has undoubtedly been the platform to their success alongside Rice but don't think any of them have missed a single game through injury. Who comes in if Saliba gets injured? Kiwior? That is a massive drop in quality.

Interestingly I was just looking back and in the 17/18 season we finished 4th on 75 points. The following season we finished 2nd on 97 points. That summer we signed Allison, Fabinho, Keita and Shaqiri with a net spend of over £130 Mill! This season we are going to finish on 79-82 points. Lots of similarities this season to how we played in the early years under Jürgen. There are of course other factors and not comparing like for like but a few signings with a similar impact as Allison and Fabinho would be huge.

I think there are too many variables. E.g. I am expecting City to be found guilty and any subsequent charges applied. I also stand by that Arsenal's squad is not as good as ours. They have a really good starting eleven but have also been incredibly lucky with injuries this season. If we can make two or 3 really good additions and have a better year injury wise no reason we cant challenge again.
